EPISODE 48: BLADE RUNNER ROCK'S WORLD WAR 3

Wrestling With Friends, Original Recipe, is back and just in time for the holiday travels! Though this one is a little PG-13, so maybe wait until the kids are nestled with sugar fairies and all that shit.

First on the agenda is a trip to one of our many Alternate Universe destinations that we still know about—this week being a trip to see when (and how) Sting's entrance into the WWE may have been a bit more impactful or exciting. Or maybe just, you know, whatever. If you're a fan of the Blade Runners, we think you may enjoy this bit!

Hopefully the spiked egg nog will kick in just in time for the Friends to fire off another entry into the List, with their #61 picks. After many worked shoots throughout the episode, will Blake stick to his guns on this one? If you're a fan ov X-Pac's anus, we think you may enjoy this bit!

Join Blake, Andy, Mr. Wrestling II & Erik, just a couple of friends chatting about wrestling. Won't you be our friend?

EPISODE 47: SYLVESTER RITTER'S FRITTERS IN JOHN RITTER'S CAT LITTER, YO

It's Tuesday, so you know what that means! Wait, you don't? Sorry, we're still getting used to this new release schedule too. But basically, it means we're here with the continuation of our Wrestling With Friends Fun Segment Time Go!

And on this, the first in our newly official, bi-weekly release series of rotating segment shows, we're packing quite the open-handed punch. That's right, Judy Bagwell is back up to her old tricks with her awards show as the Friends capture their latest judge, the Bike Man, to find out the worst of the worst. Is it Stone Cold stunning Stacy Kiebler for her refined tastes in beer? Perhaps beer itself is to blame for Hawk's alcoholism woes? Or maybe it's simply rapping about the recently deceased by family friendly John Cena that's enough for the distinction.

After you've tuned in long enough to see feathers fly and the dust settle, be sure to stick around for the List, as the Friends get into their #62 picks. If you thought we'd exit the show without a swerve, then you're in for a surprise when one of the Friends gets to his pick!

FRIENDS NEWS EPISODE 1: BIRTHDAY SHOW—A NEW DAY

It's a New Day! C'mon everybody, clap your hands with us! A New Day! Okay, it's just another day like all others, we know. Punch in, punch out, move on. But at least a new episode of Wrestling With Friends is here to help you waste one hour of your day!

And not just any episode—we are one year old today! But we'll let you spank us more than a few times...because we're about to get naughty with news about Heath Slater and A New Day, as well as Survivor Series fall-out, TNA setting course for a new Destination and the independent wrestling scene offering some enticing alternatives to a Big Show/Big Red "Stairs Match" this month.

Then we get into the meat. The part you all want to sink your teeth into. The podcasts that "broke the internet". That's right, we're talking CM Punk, we're talking Vincent Kennedy McMahon, and we're talking everything in between. We dissect some of the larger talking points, and what some of the allegations could mean for the future of Vince's WWE. We also try to decipher the responses from a promoter who's spent his entire adult life lying and working people over.

The New and Improved WRESTLING WITH FRIENDS

Whether it's a podcast or a porn shoot, getting 3 guys together every week is a more difficult task than it seems. And after 44 episodes and nearly a year of this thing, your Friends are feeling a bit road-weary. The doctors are telling us we need to take some time to think about the pace we're on, and whether or not we want our careers to end prematurely. That's why we're changing things up with the format around here.

To allay your fears that you'll be getting LESS friendliness in your ears, however, we're here to break down what this all means. Read below for the new release schedule, or get your lawyer to do it for you. Who cares?!

THE FRIENDS WEEKLY NEWS SHOW

WHO: A combination of Andy, Blake & Erik
WHAT: A weekly podcast highlighting current promotion news & hot topics in the industry
WHEN: Every Friday
WHY: A news-only show allows any combination of the Friends to get together without fearing that the format is being tampered with or that things are out of whack due to an absence. It also allows you, our Friendly listener, to stay up on the news you crave without falling behind due to extensive follow-up segments. We will have more time to discuss the news without rushing ourselves, and to speak on the topics that make the wrestling world go 'round.

THE FRIENDS FUN SEGMENT SHOW

WHO: Andy, Blake & Erik — NO MATTER WHAT!
WHAT: A bi-weekly podcast (every 2 weeks) featuring our fun rotating segments & new List entries
WHEN: Every other Tuesday
WHY: Chopping off the news from the front of the show allows these episodes to be listened to whenever and for always. Talking about the best & worst moments in wrestling history can now live in posterity, and shown to your grandchildren through their ear chip devices. The bi-weekly schedule also allows the 3 Friends to find a suitable time for them all to get together, so that a clusterfuck J-Bags Awards handout or cordial Heenan's Hall ceremony will never leave another Friend out in the cold.

We hope this new format will work for you, our faithful listeners, as it is you that makes this all possible. There will be just as much Friendliness packed in for you each week, but in a more palatable 1 hour installment (because we all know how 3 hours of wrestling works out for everyone...)

EPISODE 45: CM CUDDLE

We're in a deep freeze right now, folks! Good thing we all have our own favorite wrestlers to snuggle and sleep in with! Who's yours? Mine is Blackjack Mulligan.

It's time to freshen up this place after nearly a year of hanging around on the Internet. Tune in for some more details—however, we think you're going to like the changes. Don't worry, it involves even more friendliness! On this episode, we dedicate our time solely to news & current events, as well as our Friends Cup predictions for Survivor Series. How are you doing in your predictions? We'd love to know!

The show ends with an extra treat: Geekparty.com writer Blake Steil's thoughts on the new WWE 2K15 video game for the next gen consoles! You'll want to hear his thoughts, alongside a possible differing opinion from Andrew. Should you spend your hard-earned money on this new video game? Let Blake & Andy make that decision for you!

THE BIG PUSH

By Guest Writer, Kraig Khaos

So here we are. The era of Lesnar. An unstoppable, all demolishing beast with a thirst for violence. But what if, at the same time, we were also at the height of Ultimate Warrior mania?

The Ultimate Warrior. A painted face, mountain of muscle with an intense energy that has never been matched.

Now imagine this. John Cena. Wearing his jean shorts, his red Cena shirt with matching hat and wristbands is walking down the street, on his way to the grocery store to buy some Fruity Pebbles. While wearing his headphones that is playing Color Me Bad's "I Wanna Sex You Up", he neglects to look both ways before crossing the street. After one step, he is immediately ran over by Stone Cold Steve Austin's monster truck and flattened into a pile of street pizza. So now, the WWE Championship is vacant, and Vinnie Mac and company have the difficult decision of who to put the belt on. Warrior, or Lesnar. Who will get the big push that make them a WWE Legend? Let's look at the stats...

OVER:

Who is more over with the crowd? The fans will watch any match with Brock Lesnar in it, just because he is in it. Whether a heel or a face, people wanna see Lesnar in the ring, because you KNOW, he gonna hurt somebody.

And while you may see a Lesnar shirt here and there, his popularity pales in comparison to the Warrior's merch sales. At every event the Warrior was at, be it Saturday Night Main Event or Popfart, Nebraska, you would seen hundreds of kids with Warrior painted faces. You would see Warrior paint shaped foamed fingers, banners, shirts, neon tassels dangling from arms. And just about the biggest "pop" any wrestler in history has ever received.

WINNER: Warrior

LONGEVITY:

Who would last longer in the WWE? While Brock Lesnar has left WWE to pursue other interests, he always left on good terms. And he has been with the company on and off for almost 4 times as long as the Warrior was with the company. Lesnar also doesn't seem the type of person to pull any shenanigans. Such as, oh, I don't know, maybe geting fired for holding up a Pay-Per-View main event hours before the match by refusing to wrestle until he was given more money.

WINNER: Lesnar

THE JOB:

Lesnar understands that someone can't win every match or hold a title forever.

He is obviously willing to do what management needs him to do. Be it beating John Cena within an inch of his life and winning. Or beating Triple H within an inch of his life, and still letting Triple H win. It is said that Warrior absolutely hated to lose in order to get someone else over or for whatever reason. It is widely speculated that Warrior would throw fits of rage when asked to take a dive for someone.

WINNER: Lesnar

RESPECT:

Other wrestlers respect Lesnar due to his work in the ring and his many accomplishments. Warrior was said not to care about hurting others in the ring due to his lack of technical wrestling skills. It seems that Warrior gained no respect in wrestling until Hall of Fame induction and subsequent passing.

WINNER: Lesnar

BELIEVABILITY:

Who are the fans more likely to believe in winning the match. Can the Warrior's strength, energy, intensity, and raw power beat Brock Lesnar's wrestling ability, brutality, and ringside Paul Heyman? That question, is for each wrestling fan to decide for themselves...

EPISODE 44: DEAN RUSEV'S CLASS IS IN SESSION

What do 3 Friends do when there's ample amounts of wrestling to talk about each week? They get together and podcast about it, of course! And now, you're lucky enough to hear them do so for the 44th time!

There's been lots of action heading into this year's installment of the Survivor Series, and the Friends are willing to dissect it all for you. From the construction of its main event teams to some noticeable absences, it's sure to be an interesting throwback to Survivors Series of old. And if you're a fan of news, it's extra-padded this week with updates on TNA's existence and future endeavors, as well as a mini-review of the new Lucha Underground and whatever the hell Global Force is up to these days. Lastly, Ring of Honor's busy autumn keeps getting busier, and we're here to get you primed, pumped and lubed for all the exciting Indy action coming up!

The Friends attempt to be on their best behavior when they bring new co-host Mr. Wrestling II into Heenan's Hall for the first time. Once inside, they'll laugh, they'll cry, and they'll create some fond memories by going over their own memories of some great event of wrestling past, including: a brutal chairshot to Ken Shamrock's melon, the match that kicked off one of the hottest feuds in wrestling history between the Freebirds and Von Erics, and the final showdown of Sting and Ric Flair. As the tears dry, the Friends close off another monumental show with the List and some special, "Goldeneye" 64 picks.

EPISODE 40: STROKING MY BOOTY MAN CUTOUT

We're riding strong through October into a new Era for Wrestling with Friends! And trust is, this one *isn't* PG! We don't really know what it's called, or if there even is a new era, but just trust us and listen to this newest episode anyway!

The Friends come hard with the news this week, featuring the latest on Justin Roberts' conspiracy-laden departure, whether or not TNA Bound for Glory actually happened and a big month of events for Ring of Honor and their latest star, ACH. Will he be the indy scene's next golden boy? Will Blake's birthday party be a success? The only way to know is to tune in!

All right, let's calm down a bit. After all, we are entering Heenan's Hall once more this month to dedicate a new person/animal/mineral to saintly status. Once again, the Friends don't tread lightly as they nominate The Flock, Y2J's WWF debut and Paul Heyman for induction. Will chicken kiev butter be spilled, or will they come to an agreeable decision? We all better hope so, if we want to see them get to their #67 picks from the List!

EPISODE 39: BRET HART'S JOGGING TAQUITO

Welcome to the latest Season Premiere of Wrestling With Friends!

We're hitting the reboot button on the latest episode of Wrestling With Friends, as Blake, Andy & Erik return with some of the most blockbuster and groundbreaking news in wrestling today, from the WWE and its plans for the Wyatt Family, TNA's current status as a company and nobody knowing about its biggest PPV of the year, and winds of change hitting Ring of Honor with the loss of their most recent champion. And that's only in the first segment!

The Friends get started on erasing all the bad memories of past episodes by starting small in an Alternate Universe where they get to play Commissioner and reverse a few classic wrestling finishes. From the classic, to the obscure, to the downright puzzling, each Friend chooses 3 matches due for a new finish. The imaginative discussion doesn't end there, as there's still a List to get to and their respective #68 picks!

EPISODE 38: THE THING IN ROLLINS' BRIEFCASE

Welcome to the Season Premiere of Wrestling With Friends!

Well, sort of. We're just happy to be back, and ready for the fall with all of our interruptions out of the way so that we can ask the really tough questions. Like, what is in Seth Rollins' briefcase? And, is TNA still in business? Or, is Michael Elgin still trapped in Canada? You'll have to tune in to get the answers!

Business picks up on our fall premiere as we round back to the Judy Bagwell Awards, with trusty guest judge Creep Creepersin back in tow. Will he make it a successful second judging? He's got some tough choices between Sheamus' flawed 'Be a Star' campaign, Eric Bischoff's Hot Lesbian Action and the aptly themed 'Chamber of Horrors' match during WCW Halloween Havoc '91. You'd think the Friends would have run out of crappy wrestling segments by now, but they're just getting started! As usual, they depend on the List and their #69 picks to class up the show as they cap off this exciting Season Premiere!

Friends Cup: Night of Champions

As promised, in lieu of an episode this week, the Friends present this special blog entry to highlight their Night of Champions predictions in their year-long quest to obtain the first-ever Friends Cup—and not a moment too soon!

Head over there first to check up on the current standings, then come back and see Blake's write-up and Andy's classic confidence percentages!

Blake's Picks

Jericho vs Orton

Jericho's latest run has been painful. The fact that we all know he's a part timer I think has hurt the legitimacy of his matches. We know that he's just there to put other people over, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but we expect him to lose, and that's what's going to happen here. Orton, for being arguably the second biggest star the company has, has been in a rough spot lately. The fans are sick of him. He was WWE Champion going into Wrestlemania this year but was pretty much just in the background. He needs the win because he needs legitimacy. He's probably only going to get one of those things.

Winner: Randal Keith Orton

WWE U.S. Championship: Sheamus vs. Cesaro

Sheamus is in a weird spot. He came back from injury at the Rumble this year and, despite being considered one of the top babyfaces in previous years and a former World Heavyweight Champion, he somehow managed to get his hands on the United States Championship. If that wasn't odd enough, he managed to it and hold on to it without ever feuding with anyone. It was rumored that he was meant to turn heel upon his initial return, but that obviously didn't happen. I think now could be the time, as I see Cesaro walking out of NoC with the US title in hand, free Sheamus up to do something more interesting.

Winner: Antonio "Don't Call Me Antonio" Cesaro

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz

I've really enjoyed The Miz since he returned from filming his little movie. Not only did he finally turn heel again, something that most fans have been begging for since his face run fell flat, but he actually changed his gimmick up too! His movie star gimmick is nothing original, but at least its something new for him. Ziggler has finally started to gain momentum. He's nowhere near where he should be, or even where he used to be, but maybe this latest IC run is a sign that management is finally willing to give him another shot. On the other hand, maybe not. Either way, the Intercontinental title just changed hands at Summerslam and I doubt they'd move again this soon.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

WWE Divas Championship: Paige vs. AJ Lee vs Nikki

The Paige and AJ storyline has been going on for what seems like forever, and can kind of be traced all the way back to the night after Wrestlemania. It's definitely lost a lot of its luster. WWE seemed to try to spark interest by hinting at sort of a lesbian infatuation between the two a la Trish Stratus and Mickey James, but it doesn't really work in the PG era, so they were pushed into the "friend zone" where the storyline has been dying a slow death. Nikki ends this ridiculous storyline by taking the title off of both of these competitors and making it a focal point in her feud with Brie, because why not?

Winner: Nikki Bella

Mark Henry vs Rusev

Really? Are we actually doing this? Alright.

Mark Henry is pretty much just months away from retirement at this point. There is no reason for him to be the man that puts down Rusev. If I wasn't 100% sure of this already, the fact that Henry has gotten the best of Rusev on the go home shows leading into NoC kind of seals the deal. It's not going to be a clean finish because I can see this feud going another month or so, and I wouldn't be surprised if they did a double count out, but there's no way Rusev's first loss is coming at the hands of Sexual Chocolate.

Winner (if there even is one): Alexander Rusev

WWE Tag Team Championship: The Uso's vs. The Dust Brothers

The recent heel turn of both Goldust and Stardust was a clear indication of just how shallow the tag division is right now. After finishing their program with the Wyatts, the Usos didn't really have any challengers left, but thanks to a post match attack by the Brothers Dust, they do. Funny how that works. Quite simply, the Usos retain as they're simply biding time until the Ascensions debut.

Winner: The Usos

Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins

Rollins once called Reigns WWE's "golden boy." He's a man that has been tapped for the main event and that's where he's going. It doesn't matter if he doesn't connect with the fans or if he isn't good enough to carry a match by himself yet. It's going to happen. He's going over Rollins just like he's going over everyone else until he's finally holding the gold at Wrestlemania. I'm not necessarily excited about it, but, hey, it is what it is. Expect some shenanigans with Ambrose too, provided he's finished filming his movie.

Winner: Roman Reigns

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena

Summerslam was amazing. Seriously one of my favorite WWE events in a long time. One of the reasons is due to the complete and utter dismantling of John Cena at the hands of Lesnar. It was the first time we had ever seen Cena so vulnerable and we were all excited to see where his character would go from there. Well, unfortunately Vince got nervous that his top star looked too weak, so Super Cena has been on a tear like no other ever since. As far as his big rematch is concerned, however, I still expect to see Lesnar picking up the "W." It'll be a more even fight this time around, but the result will be the same. After all, Lesnar has to hold onto the strap until Wrestlemania so he can put over Reigns. Yay...

Winner: "The Beast Incarnate" Brock Lesnar

Andy's Confidence Points

Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton

Jericho is on his way out. Orton needs a win. And I’m going to need a nap after watching this one!

Winner: Orton (98% confidence)

WWE U.S. Championship: Sheamus vs. Cesaro

This match should be good… but I am struggling to care. Both characters are flatter than a 3 month old opened bottle of Coke.

Winner: Sheamus. Because why not? (80% confidence)

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz

Some sort of shenanigans will go down on this one. Let’s say Miz wins the title back and Sandow spray tans his butt later in the night.

Winner: The Miz (55% confidence)

WWE Diva's Championship: Paige vs. AJ Lee vs. Nikki

Paige will skip into my heart, AJ will skip back home without a title. Nikki is distracted by Brie who is inexplicably dressed up as Daniel Bryan.

Winner: Paige(60 % confidence)

Mark Henry vs. Rusev

It would be stupid for Rusev lose to the 43-year-old Henry… but not as stupid as having Seth Rollins lose cleanly to Roman Reigns on Raw for free before their match. So basically, I have no idea.

Winner: Rusev (50.5% confidence)

WWE Tag Team Championship: The Usos vs. Gold and Stardust

I’m sorry, but I’m bored of The Usos. Gold and Stardust aren’t over yet as heels, though. Let’s say Rikishi’s kids retain to feud with the debuting Ascension.

Winner: Usos (70% confidence)

Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins

Rollins is about to do something evil. But Dean Ambrose prevents him from completing the evil act. Reigns then spears Rollins. Rollins is sad.

Winner: Roman Reigns (85% confidence)

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena

Vince McMahon would rather lose his right buttcheek than make his top babyface look weak for more than one episode at a time. It would be bad for business if Lesnar loses, but I just can’t shake this bad feeling I have.

Winner: John Cena (50.1% confidence)

Bonus Point: The Patriot or Bob Backlund accompany Mark Henry at ringside.

EPISODE 36: BROCK LESNAR'S AUNT FLO

With one of our Friends in Vegas this week getting hitched, Andy and Erik are sitting around this week shooting on marriage and Vegas themed wrestling topics while they still wait for their invites to Blake's wedding.

A bit of wrestling news is touched upon, mostly Andy's somber reminiscing on Sean O'Haire's career and life and a discussion on the shake-ups in Ring of Honor after All-Star Extravaganza VI. But that's just the beginning of their very own all-star extravaganza this week on Wrestling With Friends!

That's right, an all-star to the film, writing, music and podcasting communities, Creep Creepersin joins the Friends to discuss the 3 wrestling women they WOULDN'T want to wake up next to after a night of Vegas debauchery. Creep is also kind enough to offer his own perspectives on the current wrestling scene before they close off with a classy discussion on favorite wrestling wedding memories and Andy touching Maria Kanellis' boob.

EPISODE 35: SUMMER ON SANDMAN'S PIG FARM

Not getting enough wrestling podcasting for your ears this week? Don't worry, the Friends are back for another week in a row with some great wrestling news and a few other fun segments. It's Blake's last episode as a free man, and he's getting shwasted!

Things begin innocently enough with a few discussions on Damien Sandow's future, CM Punk's past, TNA's questionable future AND past, and some big things happening on the Independent scene with the year entering its autumnal throes. Know what's happening before your friends, and you can be the coolest person at the party this weekend!

In Heenan's Hall this week, what was meant to be a cordial affair suddenly turns belligerent as Blake steals a few champagne bottles from the nearby banquet tables and goes off his hinges. We can't blame him—after all the wedding segments on wrestling, he has a right to be worried about his impending nuptials. Can Andy and Erik manage to right the S.S. Blake before it capsizes so that they can talk about Jesse Ventura, Alundra Blayze's trash can and Shawn Michaels over-selling Hogan at Summerslam '05? Oh boy! And we aren't even talking about what happens during the #71 pick discussion for the List!

EPISODE 34: DISTRACTED BY VENTURA'S DEAD BODY

This week, we're closing the blinds and following the money on Wrestling With Friends with a special conspiracy-themed episode.

It all begins with a discussion on the conspiracy of why WWE suddenly sucks so much, what the heck Jeff Jarrett is doing in Japan when he should be getting his slow-moving promotion off the ground, and just what Alberto Del Rio is actually planning now that he's back in Mexico for AAA JUST before their new television show airs...hmmm...how convenient...FOLLOW THE MONEY!

The tin-foil hats really come out during the second segment, as Jesse Ventura comes on the show to guide the Friends through a mine-field of wrestling conspiracies. Three of the biggest people and events in wrestling are put under the hot lamp as the Friends attempt to expose the truth. What was Vince Russo really doing in WCW? How much did Bret Hart really know about the Montreal Screwjob? And just how many of Macho Man's Slim Jims did Stephanie McMahon really snap into? The Friends offer the evidence, but it's up to you to decide what's coincidence...and what's fact. FOLLOW THE MONEY!

EPISODE 33: JUMPING THE JOHN TENTA

We're excited to bring you this episode of Wrestling With Friends during Shark Week! Unfortunately, Erik's problems with his microphone make it sound like he's recording from inside a shark tank. We apologize for the sound quality—please don't bite our heads off!

The biggest event of the Summer is around the corner, and the Friends are prepared to face it head on. They talk about all the major stories going into WWE Summerslam, as well as make their latest predictions in the Friends Cup, which is quickly turning into its final laps with Andy in the clear lead. Will Blake & Erik catch up? Is TNA still a business? All that, and some exciting changes in the Indy world are all on tap this week!

The Friends traded in their Geo Prism since last month—will their new mode of transportation get them to the Alternate Universe safely? If you're hoping to hear them talk about some modern-day nWo factions using current-day wrestlers, then let's pray for them! And if they're to make it back to talk about their #73 picks from The List, then they'll need about as much courage as John Tenta to complete the trip!

EPISODE 32: ONE-TAKE MCMAHON

You've come to the right place to get your weekly wrestling fix, and this week, it's not simply Wrestling With Friends...as in the second hour we're switching to FRIENDS ARE WAR!

That's right—though things seem relatively cordial at first, with some chit-chat about the latest happenings (aka recent firings) at WWE, what TNA is still even trying to do and fun with the Indies, things naturally turn bloody and violent as the Friends make the corner to the second segment this week.

Because, once again, it's time for the Judy Bagwell Awards! And for this installment, the friends aren't taking any prisoners in their Canadian Hotboxes. It's a bloody battle of bogus Bagwell picks as the long-dead memories of Dr. Heiny operating on Jim Ross, Robocop in WCW and Santino's love "sickness" are all brought to the fore. Guest judge Jered makes his second appearance, and you better believe he doesn't take this honor lightly! Will there be a return to The List and the Friends' #74 picks? We may never know!

EPISODE 31: CONTROLLABLE WEEPING FOR THE PATRIOT

The Friends are playing musical chairs with your hearts this week, and hopefully each one finds a spot in one of you out there!

The current news discussion is in rare form this week, tackling everything from wrestlers in film and a sudden, dramatic change in the answer to Blake's recurring question: Is TNA still in business? The Friends keep it short and sweet this week for a change, but that doesn't mean they don't take the chance to discuss the hot Divas angles and cool Indy shows going on currently.

Andy then puts his Wild Card topic choice on the table: Favorite Wrestling Entrance Themes. Proposing a challenge to the other Friends, they've each come up with 30 of the most rousing, sing along, snap along songs from their childhood through present day. Will your favorite make the list? Each Friend covers off on 5 from their own respective lists, leading to this being the most musically-packed episode yet with 15 themes to jam out to! With this concert-like experience running into multiple encores, the Friends use their discretion and push the List off for another week—but expect it to be back...with a vengeance!

EPISODE 30: THE SCHIAVONATION OF DOMINATION

We're splitting wigs again this week, with another painful episode of Wrestling With Friends! But don't worry, it's a good pain. And after our wild, uncut week, we rein things in for this special 30th episode.

The Friends kick things off by discussing a gimmick-themed question from their fun, new Facebook Group! After that, they discuss their prediction performance from WWE Beetleborgs and the aftermath of that event, while also touching gently upon TNA as to not upset it surprising turn towards entertainment. Ring of Honor is also covered, along with a short recap from a local indy show Andy & Erik attended!

Now shut up! It's time to get serious, iron our tuxedos (except for Blake, since he burnt a hole in his last time), and enter Heenan's Hall for yet another respectful, classy ceremony. There's only one spot, but there are three worthy candidates in the Barbershop Window incident, the Nexus Invasion and Tony Schiavone's on-air boner (not that kind of boner, you weirdo) turning the tides of the Monday Night Wars. And if you thought we were going to miss the List this week, you've got another thing coming, pal! The Friends return to form in this 30th of episodes with their #75 picks as well.

EPISODE 29: THE MARC MERO CONUNDRUM

It's an uncooked, uncut and uncensored episode of Wrestling With Friends this week. With no time to edit, you get this pure, unadulterated episode full of Blake's meanderings, Andy's stalling and Erik's dramatic pauses.

The news covered off on this week includes CM Punk's official retirement, Ric Flair's odd behavior, TNA not sucking and Ring of Honor and other independent promotions heating up the summer with All-Star cards. Plus, we run a bit longer in the first segment in order to give you our Friends Cup predictions for Battlestar Galactica this Sunday! Or, something close to that.

The Friends have never had a problem determining who their "third man" is (obviously, it's Erik), but in this week's uber-long edition of the Alternate Universe, they set off to determine who Mr. Hall and Mr. Nash chose to lead them in their alternate New World Orders. You'll never guess who Blake picks! (Seriously, we're still trying to figure it out ourselves...) Unfortunately, the rocket ship ran out of fuel on the way back, so once again there is no List this week.

We're in the heat of the Summer, and things are heating up on Wrestling With Friends. There's lots to talk about this week, so let's stop fooling around damn it!

Things kick off with all the wonderful news, rumors and results from WWE and the Money in the Bank PPV where the Friends finally get to the Friends Cup results. Maybe it's the additional sunshine Andy's been getting, but he has some positive news regarding TNA, while Erik also chimes in as always with ROH and Independent wrestling updates.

It's been far too long, but finally someone, or something, is getting a Judy Bagwell Award yet again. Friend to the show and fellow co-host with Erik on the Giallo Ciao! Ciao! podcast, Creep Creepersin, is here to make the judgment amongst the Rock and Billy Gunn's Kiss My Ass match at Summerslam 1999, Tim White's multiple failed suicide attempts and the Gobbledy Gooker's debut. What happens when one of your Friends gets released from the company? Nothing! You keep plugging along with another episode of Wrestling with Friends!

Unfortunately, Blake didn't make the next round of cuts, but that didn't stop Heath Slater so why should it stop us? This week, we do our best to cover news from TNA, the first ever live PPV in ROH and the WWE, including Money in the Bank predictions for the Friends Cup!

We don't cut things short just because one of our Friends was cut short, either. EPISODE 26: HALLUCINATING CANADIAN MOUNTIES

It's the second week in a row of a 3-Friend double-decker sandwich! Too bad they forgot their time management skills...

We're back uninterrupted this time with another feature-packed episode of Wrestling with Friends. Beginning with the news as always, the Friends discuss recent happenings in the WWE such as Roman Reigns, Goofball and the debut of .....*heavy breathing*..... STARDUST! There's up to and including 3 talking points for TNA as well this week, rendering the discussion a success for the first time in a while, as well as a rallying cry for ROH heading into their first ever LIVE Pay-Per-View, Best in the World!

Blake then brings his Wild Card topic to the table: a discussion on 3 favorite things in wrestling today, and 3 nostalgic items we miss from the current product. It's a cathartic discussion that also allows for some praise towards our favorite fake sport, meaning you won't any of that negative hoo-haw here! Not anticipating a discussion that lasts into the wee hours of the wrestling night, however, the Friends end up holding off on their Top 100 List discussion, but we still think your wrestling appetite will be fulfilled!

EPISODE 25: LEX LUGER DOESN'T WANT TO BE A PIRATE

25 episodes later and still Friends...what an accomplishment! Hopefully none of us are released in the near future...

Blake and Erik kick things off with some talking points surrounding the WWE before a run-in from Andy halfway through. From there they discuss all things Daniel Bryan, the Shield and other terrible ideas like TNA still being afloat. The updates portion is capped off with a fun discussion on House of Hardcore and the Super Juniors tournament in NJPW.

The fun stops, but only for a moment as the Friends don their black ties and once again enter Heenan's Hall for the first time in nearly two months. They cordially discuss the merits of men like "Mean" Gene Okerlund, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Lex Luger as each Friend pleads their case for their plaque in the Hall. You'll have to listen in to see who takes it home between "By-God" Gene, Stone Cold threatening his boss with a gun and Lex Luger invading the very first Nitro. Afterwards, the Friends toss up some more iconic names as they discuss their #78 picks from the List!

The Draft, Listener Style: Alex

Drafts are exciting! Drafts are fun! Drafts are also good for drawing blood and sometimes pulling hair.

And that's just what one of our listeners, Alex, wants to see in his brand new promotion. That's right, given endless amounts of cash and some influential...sway, he's ready to start his own Diva's promotion! Check out Alex's own Draft picks below.

Alex's Draft

Here is my roster. I decided to take a different route and make it an all ladies organization.

Andy stole my top pick, but since she would have been my #1, I would have gotten her first.

1. AJ Lee - Building the roster around her. She's the superstar.

2. Mickie James - The veteran. Still has great looks and good skills.

3. Gail Kim - The best woman wrestler in TNA. She'd put on some slobberknockers with these other women.

4. Tamina Snuka - The hoss of the group.

5. Awesome Kong - The other hoss of the group. Honestly she'd probably destroy AJ. Then have a large women feud with Tamina.

6. Emma - I haven't seen much of her, and she has a pretty stupid gimmick right now. Deserves better.

7. Paige - I think she is undeserving as the current divas champ, but she'd put on some good matches with these other ladies.

8. Alicia Fox - Love her current push. She is underrated. Plus sexy to boot.

9. Sara Del Rey - The best indie lady out there. Why isn't she on TV?

10. Mia Yim - I wanted another Asian, and since I don't know much about Japanese wrestlers, why not an up and coming indie Asian-American?

EPISODE 24: DUKE'S CULT OF GARBAGE MEN

No chance, that's what you've got...of getting an episode with Andy involved! That's right, for the second time this week, a tight-knit threesome has been shattered!

Andy no-shows this week's episode, but that doesn't stop Blake & Erik from recapping Payback and the Friends Cup results. Raw is also a hot topic, for various reasons, one of which involved Hornswoggle in an afro! Nobody cares about TNA anymore, so the two Friends go over some Indy & ROH news and respond to some messages from the mailbag!

The second half features more fun discussion with some long-overdue topics. One features "Moonlight Wrestling", an old idea for a running segment featuring wrestlers who had day jobs. Names like IRS, Big Boss Man, Undertaker & the Goon are mentioned, among others, as they discuss the validity of men supplementing their income with some good old-fashioned fighting. This bleeds into a discussion (hardway) into Wrestling with Tropes, as Blake & Erik discuss some fun recurring gimmicks that have nothing to do with the men in the ring, but everything to do with the psychology they use.
